ABFAD Ltd has held a long term high level maintenance contract at one of the largest Power Stations in the UK since 1998 to 2009, all contracts have been won by full tender process every two to three years.

Duties consist of all high level maintenance, including activities at every outage; cladding repairs, non destructive testing and inspection of all stacks and chimneys, protective coatings, fabrications and installation of new structures such as stainless steel cowls around high pressure vents and turbine access gantry etc, general cleaning of turbine and boiler house halls, welding pipe repairs, potable water and nitrogen pipeline installations, high level lamp replacement, internal overhead crane period inspections etc.
