Quality and Safety Safe working practices and quality are not negotiable with ABFAD. All work carried out is performed to specification, safely using Risk Assessment and method Statements. ABFAD will supply personnel with the ability required to perform work instructions. ABFAD's safety supervisors will oversee all coating, general access projects and rope access manoeuvres. ABFAD's Safety Supervisors are trained to the highest standards and will ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements are provided for all work where personnel are involved. The CDM Regulations are aimed at improving the overall management and co-ordination of health, safety and welfare throughout all stages of a construction project to reduce the large numbers of serious and fatal accidents and causes of ill health which occur every year in the construction industry. The CDM Regulations place duties on all those who can contribute to the health and safety of a construction project. ABFAD advocates using CDM and Health & Safety regulations to assist with management control and overall safety on sites.
ISO 9001:2008 Certificate & OHSAS 18001:2007
 ABFAD has been accredited with full BS EN ISO since 1998 for Construction Support Services - Industrial Rope Access. Current certificate is full BS EN ISO 9001:2008 in line with new regulations which covers Construction Support Services – Industrial Rope Access, Specialist Coatings including Tank Linings using 100% Solvent Free Epoxy and Polyurethanes and of course Occupational Health and Safety certificate 18001:2007 since February 2006.
ABFAD Management do not permit unsafe working practices and realise that experience is required to Supervise Rope Access Maneuvers and therefore supply the highest trained operatives that oversee all operations. The Team Leader / Safety Supervisor ensures a risk assessment is carried out and a comprehensive Method Statement written prior to any work commencing. All activities are discussed with team members prior to implementation - safety is the key to ABFAD's success.
